CECIL COLLINS is one of the Central School of Arts most celebrated and important teachers who taught at the College from the 60's through until his death in 1989.
His teaching methods inspired and influenced generations of students. Two such students are Ruth Eisenhart and Willow Winston who are both practicing artists and teachers and continue to use his teaching methods..
They will be sharing their experiences and insights into his unique contribution both as a teacher and artist who believed that to understand the true nature of Creativity one has to learn how to see ‘Through the eye of the Heart’. Excerpts will be shown from the BBC film ‘Fools and Angels’ and from the Arts Council Film ‘The Eye of the Heart’.
Free (donations invited) but please book a place with Andrew Norwood on 07843 329587 or email chaplaincy@arts.ac.uk
